The program is designed to identify, recognize and celebrate the success of the top 25 UAB alumni-owned or UAB alumni-managed businesses.

The award recipients will be honored during a dinner at the UAB Alumni House on Thursday, June 20. Networking will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the seated dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets to attend the 2019 UAB Excellence in Business dinner are $50 and are available at uab.edu/alumni. The UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 class of 2019 includes four alums:

• Travis Broome, vice president, Aledade, graduate of the Collat School of Business and School of Public Health.
• Francis Obuseh, DrPH, MPH, MS, executive director, Full Spectrum Health Services LLC, graduate of the School of Public Health.
• Mazi Rasulnia, PhD, president and CEO, Pack Health, graduate of the School of Public Health, Collat School of Business and School of Health Professions.
