Summer Global Health Internships have connected UAB students to partner organizations in Jamaica, Kenya, Uganda, Panama & Nepal for elite educational experiences. Internships come with a travel stipend to cover airfare and some living expenses.

The School of Public Health Global Health Foreign Travel Award is offered by the Sparkman Center & the SOPH's Dean's Office to support international educational experiences for SOPH students such as attending an extracurricular academic/professional conference, training activity, Education Abroad program, or internship/practicum related to Global Health.
