UAB’s Second-Year Experience program (SYE) will host a webinar highlighting data it has captured on how Universities can engage with sophomore students. This is a unique opportunity to learn how about this specific group, how institutions work with them and how to develop future innovations to SYE programs.
   
Last month, SYE Coordinator Paton Roden sent out a brief survey to a Sophomore Listserv and Sophomore Institute participants to collect critical data concerning second-year student support. More than 55 participants from a collection of universities provided feedback, which will help to strengthen UAB’s second-year student-focused programming. Due to the high volume of interest – both nationally and internationally – Roden will host two webinars to report back on the wide range of findings from the institutions studied. Both webinars will be 40 minutes and can accommodate 100 participants. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to voice your insight and give feedback.
