Student Affairs is hosting their annual series of events, Stress Less Week. From April 15-18, students will experience various activities of relaxation and fun. Event times vary. The event is free and snacks will be provided. The schedule is below:

 

Monday, April 15

Kool Aid & Creativity: Come make stress balls, balloons, paintings, and more. There will also be a bounce house!
When: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Hill Student Center Performance Lounge and Amphitheater

Take What You Knead: Create and take home soothing aromatherapy Play-Doh.
When: 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Where: Hill Student Center Table 1

“Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse” Movie Night: Bring your popcorn and enjoy a free movie!
When: 7 p.m.  
Where: Campus Green


Tuesday, April 16

Massages, Painting and Caricatures: Allow a massage therapist to help relieve some  stress and also get a caricature created just for you! There will also be painting activities.
When: 12-3 p.m.
Where: Blazer Hall RLC

UAB vs. UA Baseball Game: See UAB Baseball go head-to-head with UA Baseball at Regions Field. The first hour of the event will feature T-shirts and giveaways
When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Regions Field


Wednesday, April 17

Glow in the Dark Yoga: Enjoy yoga after dark with glow sticks (provided) as well as a limited number of water bottles and snacks.
When: 7-8 p.m.
Where: Campus Green


Thursday, April 18

Silent Disco: Sponsored by Wellness Promotion, the Silent Disco lets you dance the stress away to your choice of songs! Food will be provided.
When: 7 p.m.
Where: New Freshman Residence Hall Underground
