UAB’s International Mentors, an initiative of Student Multicultural & Diversity Programs, invites all UAB international students and program mentees out for the 2017 Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner. The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the UAB Spencer Honor House and features an evening of food, bonding, relaxation and celebration.
For many, Thanksgiving is a time for gathering with loved ones, and this mixer is an opportunity for international students to pause and reflect on the accomplishments and achievements they have made throughout the semester. In addition to relaxing and breaking bread, students will also celebrate the valuable connections and relationships they have formed through the program.
This event is exclusive to international students and mentors/mentees of the International Mentors Program. Attendees are not obligated to bring a dish to attend, as International Mentors will provide food for the meal. Admission is free, but registration is required via the following link:
