Join the Black Student Awareness Committee (BSAC) for their annual fashion show. The theme is Afrofuturism and incorporates science fiction with elements of black culture. Drawing from across the spectrum of the arts, this fashion show will embrace black history and the impact it has had on the material world.
   
 BSAC is excited to welcome Darryl “DC” Chambers, a professional model who was appointed “Eye Candy” by Essence magazine in 2012. BSAC is proud to showcase all black designers being sported by UAB students making their debut on the catwalk. Following the show, highlighted designers will be onsite selling their apparel. The event is free and open to all UAB students.
   
   The fashion show will take place Sunday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel located at 808 20th St. South. Dress in your most festive attire as you watch fellow UAB students slay the runway.
