Shawra Rainer

Shawra Rainer serves as the Director of Community Standards and Student Accountability. She received a Master of Social Work from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. Shawra has fourteen years of social work experience, and her professional philosophy is rooted in looking at all people holistically and focusing on restorative practices. Her most recent role was at the Alabama Community College System as the Student Success Compliance Officer. In that role, she provided support and oversight to all twenty-four Community Colleges within the state related to Student Conduct, Title IX, and ADA. Previously, she served in multiple roles within UAB. Shawra was the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Conduct, Case Manager, and Graduate Student Government Advisor.

Adonis McCullumn

Adonis McCullum serves as the Assistant Director for Community Standards & Student Accountability. He received a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mississippi State University. Previously, Adonis worked in Residence Life here at UAB serving as the Residence Life Coordinator for Gold Hall. He is passionate about student retention and working with students to promote student success. Adonis calls southeast Mississippi home but is thrilled to be part of the UAB and Birmingham family.
