    Everest Challenge - September 1 - April 5

    This challenge is to see who has the endurance and fortitude to climb the tallest peak in the world without ever leaving Alabama. When you come to the wall you can log your climb and our attendants will keep track of close you are to reaching the summit. Those who complete all the climbs will receive a prize at the grand slam at the end of the academic year.

    Learn to Climb Course - (7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9)

    This is an introductory course into rock climbing. We will cover everything from belay to lead climbing. We will meet once a week every 5 weeks and prepare all participants to be able to climb outside.

    Southeastern Outdoor Leadership Conference - September 16-17

    The Southeastern Outdoor Leadership Conference will be hosted at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the campus recreation center. This conference will allow for the student staff of adventure recreation programs from across the southeast to share their knowledge experience, and passion for the outdoors.
