Adam Roderick is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UAB, where he was awarded Presidential Honors and graduated magna cum laude. He received a Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from the University of Montevallo and was named the Outstanding Graduate Student in the Counseling Program.

Adam serves as Academic Coach and Program Enhancement Specialist in the UABTeach program. He is actively engaged in all aspects of the program and plays a key role in its implementation, development, management, and marketing. He works with UABTeach students to help them overcome academic challenges and navigate the UABTeach program. He leads the UABTeach program in coordinating and executing all program recruitment and marketing campaigns, ensures effective and efficient implementation of program curriculum logistics, assists in all program fundraising and development efforts, and serves as the point of contact for numerous cross-campus and community partners aimed at ensuring program success. Prior to his work in UABTeach, Adam served as an Academic Advisor in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences where he had the opportunity to assist students in exploring career options, to teach first year experience courses, to assist in New Student Orientations, and to contribute in the formation of new entities on campus targeted at addressing student needs.
