Presented by UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, this year’s LOCAL festival will start at 5 p.m. outdoors on the center’s Engel Plaza. The entertainment includes performances by Ingrid Marie at 6 p.m., singer-songwriter Evan Pezant at 7 p.m. and headliner Act of Congress at 8 p.m.
Shop some of Alabama’s favorite eclectic artists and vendors while enjoying the live performances. Birmingham’s favorite local food trucks will be on-site when it is time for a bite to eat. A children’s activity area presented by ArtPlay will welcome kids and families. Kick off the summer season and be the Alys Stephens Center’s guests for this family-friendly event, perfect for everyone who loves to call Alabama home.
