Blue 42, Blue 42, set, hut! Brayan played in the oldest high school football rivalry game in the state of Alabama and was coached by an NFL quarterback. His future is so bright that even Blaze the Dragon needs shades. His favorite thing about UAB is the endless opportunities it offers students to grow and further their education.

He shoots! He scores! Vincent has gotten the chance to shoot on the UAB basketball court during a time out of a home game. His favorite thing about UAB is that he gets into all the athletic events for free with his ONE card.

Scuba! Sofie is a certified scuba diver and loves diving with her dad in Florida. Her favorite thing about UAB is the restaurant scene in Birmingham. The variety is unmatched.

Lights, camera, action! Zoya is a passionate movie connoisseur. She enjoys watching both new and old films at the Sidewalk Cinema. Be sure to catch her at this year’s Sidewalk Film Festival! She loves the music scene surrounding UAB, whether it is jam sessions in Hulsey Center, performances at the Alys Stephens Center, or local rock shows at the Firehouse.

Sunny skies and sandy times! Catherine loves the beach and goes as often as she can. Her favorite thing about UAB is how much it feels like family. UAB has truly become her home away from home.

It’s just a little bit of hocus pocus! Laura Beth has practiced card tricks for three years but can only remember how to do one magic trick. Her favorite thing about UAB is the recreation center. You can catch her using all the cool amenities like the free weights, Iron Cave, and sauna.

A musical prodigy? Dani loves music! She grew up playing the piano and the flute. Her favorite thing about UAB is the research community. She appreciates the inclusivity and passion with which professors and students approach research.

Abby Lee? No. Abby Frees! Abby was classically trained in dance for seven years and won a dance competition with a routine she choreographed. Her favorite thing about UAB is that there are so many great places to watch the sunset.

Her favorite thing about UAB is all the study “yap sessions” she has with her friends in Sterne Library. They go intending to focus but end up talking, laughing, and recharging between assignments.

He’s the definition of an all-around athlete. Tyler has played 10 different sports, including gymnastics, golf, basketball, taekwondo, soccer, weapons training, tennis, swimming, volleyball, and boxing. His favorite thing about UAB is that there are so many clubs to get involved in. There are over 400 on campus.

She’s played these games before! Drea graduated with a college degree before finishing high school. Her favorite thing about UAB is how eventful it is. There’s always something to do, from activities on the green to several active clubs.

There’s only one person who can tell you who you are. Her. Miller Morgan. Miller is a Glee superfan and can name any song, when it was sung, and who sang it. Her favorite thing about UAB is the people. She has enjoyed meeting others through her various activities with Greek life and the orientation leaders.

She’s nuts about peanuts! Jayla comes from the “peanut capital of the world,” so she knows just about everything there is to know about them. Her favorite thing about UAB is the strong sense of community and belonging on campus. Everyone has a place where they belong.

Give him the aux! David loves music of any genre and has two 12-hour playlists for K-pop and R&B. His favorite thing about UAB is the many different ways to get involved. Whether it is cultural organizations, Greek life, or groups related to your major, there is something for every student.

She glows so bright that even her teeth glow! Adalyn has two fake teeth that glow under blue light. Her favorite thing about UAB is all the places she is able to run. Catch her running all around campus in the fall.

She puts the green in green and gold. Audrey has a massive green thumb. Last fall, she earned a certification in Master Gardening. Her favorite thing about UAB is the good food around campus. Whether it is Pizitz Food Hall or somewhere in Five Points, there is always something great to eat.

An avid moviegoer, Angel loves going to the theater near The Summit to watch the newest animations. Her favorite thing about UAB is all the greenery on campus. The trees and pretty flowers are always so nice to see in the spring.
