Get to know Daniel

I am passionate about...science, traveling, and meeting new people!
I am interested in (affiliated student organizations/groups on campus)...Baptist Campus Ministries, Greek Life, Best Buddies, Alpha Epsilon Delta
I chose UAB because...I chose UAB in the seventh grade when I went on a college tour with my older brother. The moment I stepped foot on campus I knew UAB was the place for me. UAB grants their students the unique ability of using not only the campus as a classroom but also the city. With my desire to one day pursue a career in medicine UAB seemed like the most obvious choice for me, as there is a seemingly endless number of opportunities on campus and within the city of birmingham.
Favorite UAB memory? So far, my favorite UAB memory has to be homecoming week. Every day there is a new event that brings the campus together, serving as a great way to meet new people and make new memories. My favorite event during homecoming week is without a doubt, Blazer Showdown! During Blazer Showdown all of the fraternities and sororities have a dance battle that is super fun to watch! I got to participate in Blazer Showdown last year which is why the event holds a special place in my heart.
Best thing you've ate in Birmingham? The best food I have eaten in Birmingham is without a doubt the chicken fingers at SOHO Social. I know that sounds basic, but trust me on this one.
