I am passionate about...bridging the gap between Latinos and areas like higher education, law, and business. I have learned that it is a immensely wholesome experience to translate for Spanish speakers. Not only is it an opportunity to help people, but it also helps me stay connected to my roots.
I am interested in (affiliated student organizations/groups on campus)...Spanish and Latino Student Association (SALSA), BSL (Business Student Leaders)
Favorite thing to do in Birmingham? My favorite thing to do is go to a new coffee shop. There are soooo many coffee shops in Birmingham. Every free Saturday that I get, I go to a new coffee shop and study. It's such a nice little vibe and I enjoy it a lot.
Best class you have taken at UAB?Law and Economics, this class was very discussion based. It covered many crucial political topics.
Best thing you've ate in Birmingham?I actually have a list of my top 3 spots: 1. Saul's Kitchen Taco Truck (their agua de horchata is anazinggggg) 2. Marielo's Pupuseria (best pupusas ever!!) 3. Tacos Don Tacho (nice sit down restaurant, has a little bit of everything)
