The UAB Callahan Eye Hospital will open its remodeled emergency department and newly renovated Lions Eye Clinic at a ceremony on Thursday, July 31.
The new clinics, located at at Medical West in Bessemer and the Birmingham St. Vincent’s Hospital campus, will provide care for a variety of ocular conditions.
The hospital boasts 154 credentialed medical staff, including 80 surgeons, and has trained more than 200 ophthalmologists.
