Joining the APBRN

The APBRN is open to all primary care physicians and clinical staff currently licensed and practicing in the state of Alabama, as well as medical students and residents. General membership meetings are held twice a year, in December and June. Research opportunities are ongoing and are communicated to members primarily through email. APBRN membership and participation in all research projects is completely voluntary. New members are accepted on an ongoing basis. To join, please contact the Coordinating Center to request an application packet.

Advisory Board

Under Dr. Harrington's direction, the APBRN is guided by an Advisory Board comprised of physicians in academic and private practice who review and provide feedback on matters affecting the Network as a whole, and particularly the membership, including the appropriateness of research proposals.
