Accounting instructor Eddie Nabors was recently elected to the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors to serve as the board’s director of administration.
The three-year position oversees maintenance and safe keeping of all organization records and correspondence, including the budget, monthly financials, and annual tax returns.
“I am excited because this gives me an opportunity to make a difference on a national level for an organization that I love and think does a great job of having an impact on students,” Nabors said. “The pandemic brought some challenges, and I am eager to help develop a path for the future of the organization.”
Nabors serves as faculty advisor for the UAB chapter of Beta Alpha Psi opens a new website, an honorary organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students. Last year Nabors received Beta Alpha Psi’s prestigious Outstanding Advisor Award opens a new website, an honor advisors can only receive once every 10 years.
