EndNote X6 Workshops on October 12
EndNote X6 is available at UAB. With X6 comes EndNoteSync! This feature allows you to manage your EndNote library from multiple computers. Donna Kirking, Senior Product Trainer for Thomson Reuters, will conduct a series of workshops on EndNote X6 at UAB on Friday, October 12. The sessions will be held in the Electronic Classroom at Lister Hill Library. The library will provide pizza at 11:00 for attendees. Registration for each session is required. Click here to register.
8:30-11:00 EndNote Basic (hands-on)
This class focuses on the different ways to get data into an EndNote Library. It also includes setting preferences and creating custom groups, smart groups and group sets, and how to use most popular 'Cite While You Write' commands.
11:30-1:30 EndNote Web for EndNote Users (hands-on)
This class covers using the EndNote Web features available to EndNote Users. It includes transferring references and using the EndNote Web plug-in and Capture button.
2:00-3:30 EndNote Advanced: Tips and Tricks
This class covers some commonly requested advanced features, such as editing styles to add the cited pages field for citations, customizing reference types, and creating custom term lists to integrate with customized or existing reference types.
