Dr. Candace Floyd, Director

Welcome to the launch of our Web site for the TJ Atchison Spinal Cord Injury Research Program. We are delighted to welcome you to the community. As well as a Facebook page and Twitter account, our Web site is also being launched to reflect the Program’s new aims and objectives and will explain the two components of research, education, and grant opportunities carried out from the Program. On the About Us tab, the mission statement and component descriptions are provided. Under About TJ, you will find a profile of TJ Atchison and a brief history of how his Program was established. We would like to provide a warm welcome to the new members of staff and students who will be associated with the Program. I am honored to be appointed as the new Director and my profile can be seen on the Faculty and Staff section. Alongside there is a profile of Tory Minus who serves as Educational Liaison and Program Manager. Following staff profiles, there is Legislative Updates provided by Senator Marc Keahey (District 22), who serves as bill sponsor for the TJ Atchison Spinal Cord Injury Research Act. On the Students page, is an insightful biography of two University students, who are doing research on spinal cord injury. We hope you enjoy learning more about the TJ Atchison Spinal Cord Injury Research Program and find the social media links, along with the Web site and other resources useful. Thank you and please visit again soon!
