Scholarships
- UAB International Scholarship for First Year Students (Freshmen Only)
- UAB International Baccalaureate/Cambridge AICE Scholarship (Freshmen Only)
- High school seniors who are candidates for the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the Cambridge AICE Diploma can apply for a 4-year IB/AICE Scholarship. To do so, log in to BSMART and submit the general BSMART Scholarship Application by April 1. Be sure to complete the "National Scholarship Questions" section for IB/AICE Candidates and submit a letter from your IB or Cambridge AICE Coordinator, confirming your candidacy for the Diploma as part of this application. Selected students will initially be awarded the Diploma Candidate amount ($1,000 per year). If they earn the IB/AICE Diploma, their awards will automatically be upgraded to the Diploma Holder Scholarship ($2,500 per year) after their final IB/AICE scores are received.
