Talmadge E. King, M.D., dean of the UCSF School of Medicine and vice chancellor for medical affairs, will give this year’s Leadership in Academic Medicine Lecture keynote on Friday, Sept. 28 at 8 a.m. in Spain Auditorium. His presentation is titled, “Prepare for Opportunity: A Dean’s Perspective on Leadership.”
Janis M. Orlowski, M.D., MACP, chief health care officer at the Association of American Medical Colleges, is the first speaker in 2016 for UAB Medicine’s expanded Leadership in Academic Medicine Lecture series.
