A longtime UAB physician, educator and administrator has been honored with a major award from the Society for General Internal Medicine.
Carlos A. Estrada, M.D., M.S., will begin the role of associate provost for Interprofessional Education and director of the Center for Interprofessional Education and Simulation (CIPES) on January 2, 2017.
Now in its 6th year, RIME Week 2016 is set for Sept. 21-23.
