School of Medicine formalizes Learning Communities to enhance student wellness, medical education

Leaders in the UAB School of Medicine recognize this and have formally established learning communities, small groups led by faculty mentors that serve as a home base for students throughout their medical school career.
The Division of Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine will become the Department of Otolaryngology on October 1, 2015.
