The UAB School of Medicine Huntsville Regional Campus recently hosted its fourth annual Research Day on May 18. Roger D. Smalligan, M.D., MPH, professor and regional dean of the Huntsville Regional Medical Campus, and Farrah Ibrahim, M.D., FACP, director of the Huntsville Internal Medicine Residency Program, developed the oral and poster competition in 2018.
William M. Geisler, M.D., MPH, professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and co-director of the Medical Scientist Training Program, has been named the assistant dean for Physician Scientist Development in the UAB School of Medicine.
