I grew up in Hong Kong, then moved to Dothan, AL to complete high school. As a traditional student, I completed my bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at UAB, with career goals to teach, to help patients in achieving their best quality-of-life, and to be an advocate in public health issues such as mental health and environmental health.

The student-operated Equal Access Birmingham Clinic celebrated its first anniversary of providing no-cost healthcare to underserved populations in Birmingham on Nov. 11.
