The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Writers’ Series and the Birmingham Area Consortium of Higher Education will present a reading by novelist Thomas Kennedy at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the UAB Mary Culp Hulsey Recital Hall.

 

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Writers' Series and the Birmingham Area Consortium of Higher Education will present a reading by novelist Thomas Kennedy at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the UAB Mary Culp Hulsey Recital Hall, 950 13th St. South. Kennedy has published more than 20 books of fiction and nonfiction as well as hundreds of stories, essays, poems, translations and author interviews that span a quarter century. His work has won many national and international prizes, including the 2007 Eric Hoffer Book Award for The Copenhagen Quartet, a sequence of four novels set in the Danish capital where Kennedy makes his home.

The UAB Writers' Series is an annual offering of the UAB Department of English Program in Creative Writing.
