UAB’s Center for Aging will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at UAB Learning Resource Center, 1714 Ninth Ave. South. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Recent research findings on aging-related issues will be presented, and the keynote address will be delivered by Arthur F. Kramer, Ph.D., professor and Swanlund Chair of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Kramer will speak about Enhancing Cognitive and Brain Function through Physical Activity.

The Center for Aging promotes the health and well-being of older persons and their families by conducting and promoting aging related research, training students and faculty to conduct research, educating students and professional on aging issues and supporting community education and patient care programs.
