Contestant Javier King steps up to the plate at the Wii Sports Tournament hosted by Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) on July 16 to raise money for patient services at Spain Rehabilitation Center. The event benefited the Stover Assistive Technology Laboratory, which helps patients with spinal-cord injuries learn to use technology to improve activities of daily living. Patients in the Stover Lab often use the Wii as part of their physical therapy. PMR uses a team approach to provide care for its patients, and each discipline takes an active role in the patient’s care plan.
