UAB's Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery is conducting a 3 month at-home non-invasive lower leg stimulation study. You may be eligible if you are female and 18 years of age and older, have a history of chronic Bowel Leakage for at least 6 months, and have tried at least 2 treatments, including medications, diet, and pelvic exercises. Compensation will be provided. If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical study. Women ages 18 or older who have both urinary leakage with a strong urge to go and accidental bowel leakage who are electing medical treatment for urgency urinary incontinence wanted. No inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer or serious neurologic condition; not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
