Our goal is to provide excellence in maxillofacial prosthetic treatment to improve the quality of life for those patients afflicted with acquired, congenital and traumatic intraoral and extraoral defects. Our team provides multi-disciplinary dental care in the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Clinic. Types of procedures performed include conventional fixed and removable prosthetics including patients with implants (crowns, bridges, partials, dentures), operative dentistry (crowns), pre-radiation consultations, obturators, facial prosthetics (auricular, nasal, and orbital), speech-aid prosthetics, and trismus appliances. Care is provided by a fellow in the Advanced Education in Maxillofacial Prosthetics program and a maxillofacial prosthodontist in attending.
