If you have an urgent dental need and/or only want one specific concern addressed, you may be a better fit for our Urgent Care (limited/emergency) Clinic, a walk-in daytime dental emergency clinic where patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients new to UAB Dentistry or who have not been in our care for more than two years may come to this clinic for limited dental procedures and emergencies without an appointment.

There is a fee for the exam and X-rays in this clinic. The fee does not cover any treatment that might be needed. The clinic is located on the 1st floor of the School of Dentistry.

Registration hours are 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. for the morning clinic and 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. for the afternoon clinic.
