Paid Parental Leave Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for Paid Parental Leave, an employee must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Must have been employed for at least 12 months;
  2. Must have worked at least 1,250 hours in the previous 12 months; AND
  3. Must be in an eligible status at the time the leave occurs (see chart below):
