Why I Chose UAB: When asking residents and attendings from my home program about which programs they regarded most highly, UAB was always on their lists.

The aptitude of UAB-trained orthopaedic surgeons is well known across the country, and the residents had clearly fostered a supportive community. Birmingham as a city also had everything my wife and I were looking for in a new home.
