Why I Chose UAB: I chose UAB primarily because I had such a great experience as an away rotator. It was immediately obvious that the program produces well-trained orthopaedic surgeons in an environment that prioritizes teamwork and camaraderie. I felt at home and found myself getting along well with all the residents, attending, nurses and staff.

I also love the city of Birmingham itself, and the surrounding area provides great access to the outdoors, which was important to me.
