UAB Student Affairs continues to make strides in helping to make the campus community safer by encouraging students to get vaccinated against COVID-19. 

In addition to facilitating educational campaigns and providing pop-up clinics, various incentives have been offered to vaccinated students throughout the fall, from T-shirts, baseball caps, scholarships, book vouchers, campus parking passes, and football game tickets. 

Many of UAB's student organizations have been leading by example for the rest of the student body. A total of 156, or 40 percent, active registered student organizations have 70 percent or more of their membership vaccinated. These organizations' members uploaded their COVID-19 vaccination information into the student patient portal and received an incentive of $150 to $500, depending on the organization's size.
