Student Affairs staff members are invited to nominate deserving students and/or student organizations for the 2021 Student Excellence Awards. Nominees can be submitted in one or more of the 14 available awards.

The Student Excellence Awards honors UAB students, student organizations, and faculty/staff supervisors and advisors for their outstanding contributions to campus life in the areas of leadership, service, inclusion, and scholarship. 

The awards ceremony will be broadcast on the UAB Office of Student Involvement & Leadership YouTube account on Thursday, April 15, 2020. Additionally, award winners will be individually recognized and provided with a commemorative plaque or trophy. Questions regarding Student Excellence Awards can be directed to Lauren Cotant, ldhobbs@uab.edu.
