Julie Price led the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s sustainability efforts, managing a university-wide effort to ensure that UAB supports environmental, social, and economic systems that provide a productive and equitable life for current and future generations. She earned a B.S. in Natural Resources from The University of the South (Sewanee), M.S. in Horticulture from Auburn University, and Ph.D. in Biology from UAB. Julie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Jay, a veterinarian, and their two young sons.
