Larissa Peguero Alemany, M.D.

Larissa Peguero Alemany, M.D. received her undergraduate Bachelor in Biology degree and medical school degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She completed her residency at the University of Puerto Rico followed by a Body Imaging fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.

Dr. Peguero Alemany worked in private practice in both outpatient and hospital/ER settings prior to joining UAB Department of Radiology. Her clinical interests are abdominal and emergency imaging and being involved with resident education.
