Adam Jacobs, M.D., graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. He then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jacobs went on to complete his preliminary internship year in general surgery at Brookwood Baptist Health Systems, followed by his residency in diagnostic radiology with early specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After graduating residency, he went on to complete an additional independent residency in vascular and interventional radiology at UAB. He is currently an assistant professor in the Division of Intervention Radiology.

His areas of clinical interest include dialysis access management, venous disease, biliary interventions, and quality improvement.
