The courtesy card affords those within and outside the UAB community access to printed materials that could benefit their education, research and other interests.

The courtesy cards are for checking out printed materials. They do not grant remote access to UAB Libraries licensed databases or 24-5 access to the libraries.

Courtesy card holders can visit UAB Libraries, including the Mervyn Sterne Library and Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences, during visitor hours and must be buzzed in by a UAB Libraries employee.
