“Paul Rusconi: Emanations” is composed of paintings of artists who have transformed their fields, done by hand applying nail polish onto Plexiglas. The shoe has been extended through May 7.
“Outer Skin/Inner Space” will be on exhibition from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, and feature the works of 29 students in the UAB Department of Art and Art History.
The students are from the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Art and Art History and Digital Media. More than two dozen students were honored with Gold and Silver Student ADDY awards for their individual and team projects.

Lisa Iglesias teaches at the University of Florida and works both individually and with her sister, under the name Las Hermanas Iglesias. She will speak on her interdisciplinary and collaborative practice.

Community sewing days at UAB began Jan. 22 at ArtPlay and will continue Jan. 29 and Feb. 27 with the UAB Department of Art and Art History at AEIVA.
