The University of Alabama at Birmingham will host its second annual Drag Ball on Friday, September 30, at the Hill Student Center amphitheater from 6 – 8 p.m. The event will feature performances from local drag entertainers and UAB students. This year's theme is "Under the Sea."

Competition categories include:

• Divine Drag (Drag: judged on the performance of femininity)
• God of the Sea (Butch: judged on the performance of masculinity)
• Fish Face (Face: judged on makeup application and facial beauty)
• Moves Like an OctoPus (Vogue: judged on the performance of the Vogue style of dance)
• Beach Please (Costume: judged on most creative, well-executed, and on-theme costume - we're looking for anything related to the beach, the ocean, water, etc.!)
• Atlantis (House: judged on group cohesiveness and stage presence - any House member can join the group to walk together regardless of individual participation!)

The event is free to all Blazers.
