Our thoughts and prayers are with the people in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey and the devastating flooding that has followed. Any UAB students from the affected areas who are not able to travel here for the beginning of classes will be able to work with their advisors and the faculty to determine the best course of action.

As the days unfold, there likely will be many opportunities to contribute to disaster relief efforts. We will make every attempt to share that information with the UAB community.
