Heartsong Print E-mail

The Heartsong Retreat is an annual spiritual retreat typically held in the Spring each year. It is open to anyone living with HIV as well as those affected by HIV. The retreat takes place over three days/four nights at Camp McDowell in Nauvoo, AL (near Jasper). The Retreat Planning Team helps with coordinating and leading efforts.

Heartsong 2012 will be held March 14-16. To apply, please complete all parts of the application (download). Applications are also available in the 1917 Clinic Waiting Room and will be mailed to previous partipants.

How can I help?

The cost of the retreat is $150 per person which includes 2 nights lodging and 6 meals. To raise the needed funds for Heartsong 2012, we need your support. Applicants and other supporters are currently seeking donations. With your help we can accept all applicants regardless of their ability to pay.

You may sponsor the cost of one or more persons or a portion of the cost. Any donation you are able to make is welcome and tax-deductible. Checks may be made payable to UAB 1917 Clinic with "Heartsong Retreat" on the memo line.

For more information, to make a donation, or to join the Heartsong mailing list, please contact us at (205) 975-9129.
