AAFLT Discover Languages Mini-Poster Contest!
We are hoping that the AAFLT Mini-Poster Contest will be only one of many ways that Alabama continues the celebration. We look forward to seeing fantastic work from our talented students! The best three submissions in each category will be displayed at the 2009 AAFLT conference at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center, Feb. 6-7, 2009, and at the SCOLT conference in Atlanta, GA March 5-7, 2009. Below are some things to keep in mind as entries are prepared.
The theme is...
“Opening Minds to the World Through Languages”
- (These words must appear in English on all entries.)
- Judging criteria include Best Representation of Theme, Creativity, and Artistic Merit.
- The deadline for submitting entries to AAFLT is December 19, 2008.
- The first-place winner in each category (K-4, 5-8, 9-12, post-secondary) will each receive a $25 prize.
