Hosted by The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) each year, the 11th Annual Alabama AGEP/LSAMP (AAGEP/ALSAMP) Graduate School Fair is a one day recruiting event open to ALSAMP undergraduate scholars from universities and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’S) in Alabama majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).  Held each fall on the UAB campus, the Graduate School Fair attracts more than 250 ALSAMP undergraduates with an interest in pursuing a graduate degree.   The Fair provides an opportunity for scholars to meet with representatives from multiple graduate schools.  This event is an excellent opportunity for graduate schools to recruit minority students in a single location.  Students have the opportunity to visit with graduate school representatives of their choice and receive assistance in the decision-making processes about attending graduate school.
