Our philanthropy is the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which, on top of other things, donates money to fund research for a diabetes cure. Each year, our chapter holds some type of philanthropy event to raise money for the Foundation, and for the past 16 years we have received Jewel Chapter status from the Foundation for donating at least $2000. Over the last biennium our chapter donated over $15,000 to our Foundation!

Besides raising money for our international philanthropy, we participate in almost every philanthropy event taking place on UAB's campus or around Birmingham. We also take part in each of the other Greek organization's philanthropy events annually, as well as all-Greek philanthropy events. Philanthropy provides a great way for all of us Greeks to work together for great causes!
