For the past thirteen years, the sisters of Gamma Omega have received the Jewel Award from our International Headquarters. This honor has been bestowed on us for our contributions each year in excess of $2,000. In the past, Gamma Omega has hosted several golf tournaments to raise money. This year the Alpha Gams held a Rock-A-Thon and canned for money at a UAB basketball game to collect donations for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. Sisters also organized a "Beat the Heat" Lemonade Stand to benefit Hurricane Katrina survivors.
