The Armorial Bearings (Coat of Arms) was approved at the first Alpha Gamma Delta convention in 1907. Founder Emily Butterfield, who was recognized as an authority on heraldry, created the final design.

The colors of Alpha Gamma Delta are Red, Buff and Green, which were selected on the founding day by our founders on May 20, 1904.
