Visiting Artist

The UAB Department of Art and Art History is the ongoing host of the Pauline Ireland Visiting Artists Program. The program, funded through the generosity of local arts patron and benefactor Pauline Ireland, provides the Department with the opportunity to present retrospective-style exhibitions of works by major contemporary artists. Since its inception, the Department has hosted Peter Halley, John Waters, Laurie Anderson, Karim Rashid and Jane Hammond.
