(For guidelines regarding hospital banners, please see UAB Health System Marketing.) The UAB Office of Public Relations and Marketing must approve banner design before any banner is made. Signs must be professionally made; no handwritten or painted signage is allowed. Once the banner has been made, it must be brought to the Public Relations & Marketing department on the 13th floor of the Administration Building for final approval on the Wednesday before the Monday it will be displayed. Banner display time is limited to one week only. Owners of the banners will be called to come pick up the banners once they have been taken down and UAB Maintenance has returned them to the Administration Building. The Public Relations and Marketing and Maintenance groups are not responsible for stolen and/or damaged banners.
