Xu Cao -- Transcriptional Mechanism Mediated by Steroid Hormones

Research Description:

My research interest is to understand the transcription regulation of integrin alphav beta3. Steroid hormones play a critical role in bone cells. Our long term goal is study how these steroid hormones control the function of bone cells by regulating expression of integrins and bone matrix proteins.
